Finally the rain drops on the office window panes and the outside seems to be something to stay on, with the thrilling background score of thunder!
The long-elusive monsoon seems to have stepped in........finally...... ending a long, torturous and depressing spell of heat and humidity.

Monsoon, in Kolkata, is surely not my favorite season. But this very year, as we are threatened by an all-time low rainfall in the city, I too have been craving for a good shower.
ReplyDeleteI just wish that the Kolkata streets did not pose such perils on our way during the rainy season with the hellish pot-holes & the incessantly dug-up thoroughfares offering a generous helping of slush and slime!
